The Beginning

Our story is one built on love, growth and genuine connection. From the first day we met at a fundraising event on October 01, 2022, something special brought us together and kept us growing stronger every day.

Through life's twists and turns, we have supported one another, laughed endlessly, and built a foundation rooted in love, respect, and partnership.

Now, we are so excited to take our next step and become husband and wife, surrounded by the people who mean the most to us.

Our handsome son and Man of Honor brings a wonderful blend of kindness, confidence, and youthful spirit to our special day. When is the deadline date to RSVP?

You must RSVP by November 29, 2026, (Shawn's Birthday gift from you) 😎

Can I bring a guest?

We are delighted to celebrate this special day with you! If your invitation includes a plus-one, we kindly ask that you bring only the person specifically named or indicated on your invitation. Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate additional guests due to our carefully planned seating arrangements. We truly appreciate your understanding and look forward to celebrating with you!

Can I bring children?

Children under 12 will be excluded from the wedding day events only. Kids are open to all other events. 2 options are available for the Wedding Day to accommodate kids: OPTION 1: For children 4 years and older, the resort will accommodate them in their playroom. Food and activities are included. Advanced registration is required. OPTION 2: Cancun Nanny Service is a paid service recommended by the Resort. Guests will make their own arrangements at least 2 days in advance. The nanny will be allowed to service the kids in the Resort Playroom. Can dietary restrictions be accommodated?

Yes, special dietary needs can be accommodated but must be communicated when you complete your reservation via the reservation link on the Booking Page. Special dietary restriction information is also requested at check in.

Do I need a passport and are there any visa and entry requirements

Yes, a valid passport is required for travel to Mexico. Please refer to the appropriate website for passport and visa and entry requirements. You can visit: www.govisitcancun.com/travel/ and scroll to the Travel Checklist tab.

What airport should I fly into?

You should fly into Cancun International Airport (CUN).

When should I arrive?

We recommend arriving at least one day before the wedding day, however, there will be other events in which you will be able to participate starting 3 days prior to the wedding on Monday July 5th.

Will transportation be provided to and from the airport?

Shuttle service will be provided to and from the airport depending on your length of stay. Please refer to the RESORT BOOKING page for details.

How far is the airport from the resort?

The airport is 6mi (15-20mins) from the airport depending on traffic.

Is there a contact with whom I can communicate if my flight is delayed or canceled?

If your flight is delayed or canceled, please contact your travel agent.

Will I need to make transportation reservations from the resort to the ceremony?

You will not need to make transportation reservations. All events related to the wedding are taking place on the resort property.

What is the mode of transportation on the Resort?

The Resort has free transport carts that run frequently, approximately every 10 to 15 mins, and until 1:00am daily. Carts are made available for travel throughout the property. There are also free lobby to lobby buses that are available for transport to any of the 3 resorts - The Sunrise; The Nizuc; or the Grand. Buses run until 2:00am.

How do I get details about booking a room at the resort?

Can I extend my stay before or after the wedding at the same rate?

Should I get travel insurance?

Travel insurance is not a requirement for your travel to Mexico, but highly recommended. Please use the link to purchase your travel insurance, or you can contact our booking consultants for help. Can I stay at a different hotel?

All guests for the wedding are required to stay at the Moon Palace Nizuc Resort, Cancun.

Are meals and drinks included?

Yes, this is an all inclusive luxury resort.

Who will be responsible for the cost of the flights and accommodation

Each guest will be responsible for the cost of their flights and accommodation.

Should I bring cash or are credit cards widely accepted?

Both cash and credit cards are acceptable payments.

What currency does the resort use?

US Dollar and Mexican Pesos are acceptable currencies.

Is there a wedding registry?

Yes, please refer to the REGISTRY page.

What kind of gifts are preferred?

Monetary gifts are preferred

Should I bring the wedding gift with me?

Monetary gifts can be directly transferred to our registry. See the REGISTRY page for instructions. Alternatively, monetary gifts and gift cards can be brought to the wedding.

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

You may take photos during the ceremony as long as there is no flashing and you do not impede the professional photographer.

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

The wedding will be held outdoors.

Will there be group activities outside of the wedding day ceremony and reception?

Yes.There will be activities outside of the wedding day ceremony and reception. See the ITINERARY page for more details.

Are there other activities at the Resort?

Yes. There are many activities that guests can participate in. Registration is required for some events. It is important that you downlad the Moon Palace App once you complete your room reservations. This will give you access to all resort events and allow you to register.

What happens if it rains?

If it rains, the wedding will be moved to indoors.

Is the venue wheelchair accessible?

Yes the resort can accommodate wheelchairs.
